Radio Jimmydreamz is a proud member of "The Margarita Mafia". The Margairita Mafia (Musicians Artists & Fans In Alliance) was created to promote independent artists of the Trop Rock genre, a niche of music that has been around for a while but has recently exploded onto the independent music scene thanks to the popularity of artists such as Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, and many others. The Margarita Mafia is a "Family" of musical artists, disc jockeys, club owners, event coordinators, and fans of Trop Rock music all coming together for the purpose of bringing this music to a higher level of awareness. The Margarita Mafia is not a fan club or a charity, but is founded on a belief in making the world a better place for everyone through music.

Shaun Murphy is the first special guest in our long-awaited series in celebration of the legendary band Little Feat. On August 26, 2008 the new album Join the Band will be released. Join The Band was produced by Bill Payne and Mac McAnally along with executive producer Mr. Jimmy Buffett. This enticing new collection features Little Feat classics, covers, and special guest performances from artists ranging from Dave Matthews, Jimmy Buffett, Bob Seger and many more. Our special guest Shaun Murphy has sung with everyone from Bob Seger, Alice Cooper, Bruce Hornsby, Eric Clapton and Meat Loaf. Joining Little Feat in the early 1990's Miss Murphy is the newest member of the band. In our discussion she gave us her perspective about her experience of working with such amazing musicians. Of course we have our usual eclectic stash of music ranging from new Little Feat, classics, and as always stuff you've never heard until now. Tune in as we continue our travel on the songlines!
